Week one. Done and dusted!

Week one was a lot of fun.

I've been placed on a year 1 class and they're all so sweet.

This week was my observation week.

I did a lot of making, some group work and i read a couple of stories to the class.

I have planned a unit of work for HSIE on Transport and i'm very excited to start teaching it.

My only concern is that during HSIE lessons and Science and Technology lessons, year 1 and year 2 get together in the one classroom and learn the same thing.

So i'm going to have 55 students for some of my classes. 

Differentiation is a big concern for me.

I don't want to make it too easy and then as a result some children get bored, or i don't want to make it to hard and have some students get lost in the content.

I gave my unit of work to my supervising teacher, and she said that it's great, but i'm still feeling a little uneasy about it/ a little scared about teaching 55 students (classroom management wise).
